Yesterday the Danbro Design team met with Gary and Ann from the Brothers of Charity and Helen from a company called, Harmony, regarding the layout and design of the kitchen, servery, canteen and coffee shop area…all progressing really nicely.
There’s so much to think about when designing a kitchen but whilst it was quite a long meeting it was extremely productive (and I learnt a huge amount about the different types of cookers/fridges and freezers available!).
It’s going to be fabulous when it’s finished.
Desk tops, desk dividers and carpets all still to be chosen and there’s a huge selection out there! At the recent Steering Committee meeting we narrowed it down to a range of colours and textures. It’s very exciting for us to be involved in the way Jubilee House will look inside but daunting at the same time as a decision needs to be made soon!

Our new desks!
for inspiration! We’ve been checking out the mood boards today put together by the Design Team for the various areas within Jubilee House. Absolutely fantastic!!
It’s amazing where people get their ideas from.
Nice and moody!
The lovely coffee shop!

An update from Adrian Manning from Manning Elliott.
We’ve got a bigger office since last year which means we’ve got more space to review samples etc. It’s a mixed blessing as you can see from the plethora of carpets and vinyls that we’re looking at for the new offices etc!
You can see the concentrationl levels!
This is the ironmongery suite that’s been chosen, maybe you can zoom in to see it better. It’s a good, chunky, contemporary lever handle design that won’t, or shouldn’t, catch any unruly sleeves. No prizes for the first one that does get caught!
