Prospective Building Contractors

Helen, Damian, Ed and Adrian spent the entire day on Wednesday interviewing the prospective building contractors for Jubilee House.

All the presentations were great and a difficult decision now lays ahead. Everybody was extremely professional and the panel were very impressed!  We were especially pleased by the enthusiasm of all of the contractors to work with us to ensure the project is completed with as little disruption to surrounding neighbours as is possible.  We’ve been told this is called “considerate construction”.

Watch this space for further information over the next few weeks…

Raindrops keep falling on my head…

As Jubilee House is a new development we are taking the opportunity to look at some innovative and environmentally friendly building options available to us.  We strongly believe that it is vital that we make use of the World’s most precious resource if we can and with this in mind we are doing our best to accommodate the very latest “rain harvesting system” underground.  This will help us to store rainwater in huge quantities for recycling within the building.

So we could, in the future, be using recycled rainwater to flush our toilets!
